Now, at a time when communism has allegedly been dead for a decade or two, they are no longer fringe agitators, but mainstream leaders. They don't even feel the need to hide their true ideology even though the MSM still tries to hide it from public view.LawHawkRFDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17800255923675295515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-37964414935194978352011-05-08T12:29:56.361-04:002011-05-08T12:29:56.361-04:00Unions and communism, two tastes that go great tog...Unions and communism, two tastes that go great together.AndrewPricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11312364467936820986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-5144786607508663722011-05-08T11:34:48.707-04:002011-05-08T11:34:48.707-04:00I want to add that these "spontaneous" g...I want to add that these "spontaneous" grassroots demonstrations are irritating the hell out of me. In the fourth picture down, there is a fat bastard with short gray hair, glasses down on his nose, the purple shirt and the red flag. I saw him at dozens of the demonstrations that marched past my office in San Francisco over the years. He is definitely one of SEIU's professional protester goons.

If capitalism is so hard on the "laboring class," why does he need to lose about 100 pounds? Notice that in most of the pictures, all the starving masses look like they should definitely go on a diet.LawHawkRFDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17800255923675295515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-20627366840750075102011-05-08T11:25:37.957-04:002011-05-08T11:25:37.957-04:00T_Rav: I don't know who coined the phrase &qu...T_Rav: I don't know who coined the phrase "secular religion" awhile back, but it certainly fits. The movie Dogma was an unfunny jab at religion (particularly Catholicism). But they would have been much more accurate had they made the same movie with communism as the religion. Talk about dogma! Communism has it in spades.LawHawkRFDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17800255923675295515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-71438321037872151472011-05-08T11:21:55.776-04:002011-05-08T11:21:55.776-04:00Joel: I hadn't thought of dancing around the ...Joel: I hadn't thought of dancing around the Maypole in quite that way before. Maybe it's not a half-bad idea. LOL

Communism has all the trappings of religion without any of the soul. It's full of empty rituals and secular scripture, and even has its own prophets, starting with Marx himself. The only thing it's lacking is the one thing that religion requires for it to be meaningful--God.

I do think that one reason the average Joe isn't pissed off more about these union demonstrations is the reason I spoke of in the article. They only see what the MSM wants them to see. Many just have no idea what true hate-fests these things are.LawHawkRFDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17800255923675295515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-40514156834925476942011-05-08T10:41:20.437-04:002011-05-08T10:41:20.437-04:00Joel, it makes more sense once you realize that Co...Joel, it makes more sense once you realize that Communism is really a substitute religion.T-Ravhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10861218035729479354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-30812047905105119972011-05-08T09:40:43.281-04:002011-05-08T09:40:43.281-04:00LawHawk,

Because I can get behind that.

You know how Karl Marx thinks/says religion is the opiate of the masses? I think Communism is the opiate of the masses. Communism, like opiates, seems to dull the senses to the point people can hardly function.

Religion on the other hand forces a person to take a good hard look at personal behavior and responsibility. That is anathema to Communists and similar travelers as well as Liberals, Union Workers, and most welfare recipients.

I am unsurprised that Communism is thriving in Union Halls. I am a little surprised that we, as a nation, are not that agitated that these people are coming out of the "Communist Closet". It seems like every few days we hear of a new czar being appointed and he/she is a committed communist or fellow traveler.Joel Farnhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15856960977033430002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-59223631476822713752011-05-07T22:53:31.227-04:002011-05-07T22:53:31.227-04:00T_Rav: Or we could simply go back to the ancient ...T_Rav: Or we could simply go back to the ancient celebration around the Maypole. It was fun for kids, and romantic for adults, particularly young adults. Of course the militant feminists would object, since the Maypole was originally a poorly-disguised phallus. On the other hand, some authorities believe it was a carryover from German pagan tree-worship, which would please the green weenies.LawHawkRFDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17800255923675295515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-91506637849265828492011-05-07T22:29:45.841-04:002011-05-07T22:29:45.841-04:00LawHawk, maybe we can co-opt their "holiday.&...LawHawk, maybe we can co-opt their "holiday." Instead of May Day being some socialist International day, we can make it the anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death. As it is, most never see the actual demonstrations and only see the least offensive clips on TV or in the MSM. This goes far beyond a difference of viewpoint and goes deeply into anti-American territory. But you would never know that from MSM depictions. The spirit of Walter Duranty pervades almost the entire MSM spectrum.LawHawkRFDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17800255923675295515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425587034622601550.post-82294899418152608142011-05-07T20:53:25.921-04:002011-05-07T20:53:25.921-04:00Once again this only goes to expose who the enemie...Once again this only goes to expose who the enemies of this country are, and their ally and chief, Barry. “If” …the Republican Party links this guy in 2012, by his own words, he’s toast. Mark McKinnon’s advising our candidate should be unacceptable, we need a Lee Atwater. For my part, I think the American public are already hip to Obama, that’s why he’s campaigning 18 months in advance. But, since ’1980 there is a clear distinction between the two sides, we must choose wisely grasshopper.StanHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07395708786509590321noreply@blogger.com
