Today’s film is Pontypool (another Canadian horror/science fiction film: Cube and eXistenZ), and odds are you’ve never heard of it. But if you love zombie films, talk radio or smart horror, then you need to see this film. Not only does Pontypool present a truly original method for the creation of the zombies, but its story uniquely focuses on a talk-radio host who tries to piece together what is happening rather than presenting the standard “run for your life” zombie film.
