Finally, Someone with a plan!

Finally someone has come up with a plan to help California out of its economic crisis.

Genius Plan to Fix California Economy

On the other hand, this might answer the question of why we do not want to mix the "blue pill" with the "red pill"
[See Andrew's 7/9/09 post "Question: "Blue pill or Red?"]

I don't even know what to say. Um. . . like OMG. . . um. . . like this is like so wrong and um . . . stuff.

This woman should go home to her coloring books and never. . . never speak in public again.

P.S. I had no idea the East Coast still has slavery?

Bev and Andrew: You people east of the Sierras just don't understand us Californians. Let me explain. Santa Cruz is where we send people who are too crazy for San Francisco and Berkeley. Obviously the cash crop she is talking about is marijuana, and she's been dipping into her own crop. What do you expect from a town whose University of California has the banana slug as its mascot? Banana slugs ain't pretty, but they're like, um, free.

Lawhawk, I understand now. This is where the world's stock pile of village idiots is kept! I was wondering why no one was reacting to her speech. This is probably the periodic oral exam they give just to make sure they are still idiots.

Wow Bev, that was instructive, I’m clear now why California is a “basket case.”

I don't know what's funnier, listening to this woman or watching the stunned looks on the kids' faces behind her. Is she the new organic food czar?

thought bubble over the mom: smile must not turn to laugh...must not. OMG! she's an idiot....and things.

thought bubble over dude who never cracked a smile: crap, that's what i was gonna say.

thought bubble over kids: lalalalalalalal DIRT IS FREE?! lalalalala...why's momma smiling like she's gonna laugh? lalalalaa...

though bubble over patti: wow, public education is better than i thought.

That is so like, so like, ya know, California. She kind of reminded me of Caroline Kennedy, you know? . . . like

I do have to say when all is said and done, I actually admire this woman because at least she went and voiced her opinion. I have never been to a City Counsel meeting.

And I agree that food is good because well, it's food. However I can't name one vegetable that grows on a tree and I can pretty well guarantee that slavery is now no longer legal anywhere on the East Coast.
