Fasten Your Seat Belts...well you know the rest.

Wow, the summer is almost over and the kids will be back in school soon, if they aren't already. Maybe it's time to take a step back and reflect on the last eight months. Let's see...

Since January, we've witnessed about 400 Republican debates (well, it seemed like it anyway), the rise of potential candidates, the fall of damaged candidates (though not enough of that - yes, Mr. Akins I mean you!) and 10's of millions of dollars spent. We have discussed, laughed, cried, screamed, and finally sighed with relief when the least damaged was left standing. So, now we have the the field set and Romney/Ryan go from "presumptive" to "official" candidates next week (barring weather complications). Believe it or not, NOW is when the real campaigning starts and the real money will be spent. As bad it has been leading up to now, it is about to get much, much worse. So, to steal phrase from All About Eve - "Fasten your seat belts, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!"

In anticipation of the coming weeks, let's discuss what we hope to see, or not see, from our candidates (their spouses, their children, the media, etc.) in the weeks leading up Election Day on Nov. 2nd if you are Michelle Obama, and November 6th if you are the rest of the country.

Don't hold back because we know they won't...

I just want to see the Romney/Ryan ticket continue to gel. They're turning out to be a very good team, and now is the time to emphasize conservative principles while pointing out just how bad the failure of liberal policies has been. A few personal attacks on Obama wouldn't be a bad thing either. LOL

It has just been reported that former Astronaut Neil Armstrong passed away today at the age of 82. "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for Mankind." RIP

I would hope to see Obama and Biden caught doing blow off the belly of a dead hooker... but maybe that's just me?

Andrew, maybe it would Biden focus, LOL!

My thoughts...

Allow me to quote another movie:

"MAKE IT STOP!" :-)

The commenters on the Reason.com blog were having fun with Akin, but only his name. "Wow, I had no idea Chet Atkins was still alive!" "Representative Claude Akins should step aside!" etc.

(Well, I thought it was funny.)

I suppose we have an October surprise to look forward to.

I want to see ROMNEY'S TAX RETURNS FOR THE LAST 40 YEAR! No, wait, I just want some honest talk about policy and for at least one politician to talk us down from our fiscal ledge...and mean it.

Re: Neil Armstrong...

...does this mean the "moon landing was fake" conspiracy idiots think he's still alive? :-)

AndrewPrice said...

Scott, There is no Neil Armstrong. He was a fabrication by the government. :)

P.S. The October surprise will be probably come in September, like Octoberfest.

Andrew, speaking of Armstrong...

...Really, NBC?!

BevfromNYC said...

Andrew & Scott - Actually the Moon is a fabrication. It's hologram projected in the sky like the Bat-signal.

AndrewPrice said...

Scott, Who knew he was so musically talented as well?!

AndrewPrice said...

Bev, That doesn't surprise me. Have you ever noticed that it only comes out when it's dark? Also, its size keeps changing, probably because they can't keep a steady stream of energy into the projector day after day. I can't see any other possible explanation for those FACTS!!

Anyone who denies this is part of the conspiracy!

It's all a giant cover up!

BevfromNYC said...

Scott - What idiots!

BevfromNYC said...

FACTS? We don't need no stinkin' facts. And sometime, Andrew, they forget to turn of the projector and you can see the "moon" during the day! How about that, huh?

AndrewPrice said...

Sounds like absolute proof to me Bev!

Look, I researched this entire issue by reading my comment and that told me all I need to know. There is no moon, and if there was it would only be 600 years old, and it's all a conspiracy by a secret cabal to control us all.

Science if a fraud!! Bring back the Cheese-based currency!!

BevfromNYC said...

Hah! Cheese based currency - I knew the Swiss were involved somehow!

I would like the Hurricane to come in but just skirt Tampa....

Just enough to make it rain on Biden outside the convention but n ot enough to be more than an annoyance when you walk to your car.

Off Topic **Spoiler Alert** regarding the Bourne Legacy.

I just saw the movie and nticied something that I guess is a sign of the times. The CIA has this new supersecret virus that genetically modifies people into supermen. So where is this virus created and developed.

In a lab in the Phillipines.......

A sad statement on where our country has come...

Indi - I just read that Biden has scrapped his plans to be in Tampa. He doesn't want to "overburden" the police et al. because of the impending hurricane. I wonder if that means that the OWS crowd and protesters will bail too.

I hope that the Obama strategy of class warfare, race warfare and "abortions for everyone" goes over like a lead Zeppelin, so that by October they are reduced to playing their last card.

They must go for the pity vote.

This is the ad I want to see:

Scenes for Obama campaign ad
Music: Bob Seger, "Turn the Page"

1: Obama leaving White House in the early dawn.
2: Obama takes his armored Lincoln on the road.
3: Obama arriving at convention center
4: Obama setting up his equipment
5: Obama giving speech in front of a 100-strong slice of America, promising to look out for them. The good people cheer and clap.
6: Hugs old lady and shakes the hand of a wheelchair-bound veteran who gives him his last dollar to "keep up the fight."
7: Night. Obama sitting in a run down motel all by himself.
8: Obama watches the rednecks at the pool then draws the curtain.
9: Obama calls Michelle in her little kitchen.
10: Michelle wipes her hands on her apron and picks up. Tears and smiles.
11: They do the long distance fistbump.
12: Obama in bed with his reading glasses, reading a biography of Lincoln, then putting out the light.
13: Next day, morning. Obama gives a snack to a stray dog. Dog won´t leave him after that, so Obama lets him ride in his car.
14: On a lonely stretch of desert highway. Obama is overtaken by the huge Romney motorcade of huge buses and huge foreign limousines.
14: A Romney aide (note: get Rich Lowry lookalike) throws a handful of spikes on the road.
15: Obama next to his car, looking at his flat tire, gently shaking his head.
16: Obama changing a flat tire, wiping the sweat from his brow.
17: Dog jumps around playfully, making Obama smile.
18: Obama looks out over the highway. We hear the voice of the veteran in his head. "Keep up the fight". His face shows grim determination.
19: Obama gets in his car. We see his "Forward" bumper sticker. He drives off towards the horizon. The End.

Where do you think Bilderberg is? In Holland! Another country known for its cheese! It all fits together. The cabal of Democrats and Republicans is going to take us back to the cheese standard ... and they will control the cheese. All cheese will be government cheese and the next time you want to buy some, it will be like this:

I would simply like to see the information that has been blocked by, the most transparent administration ever, bo from FOIA exposure.
If half of it would be shown to the public bo-biden couldn't hide. And to review that stuff you would certainly need a seat belt. The dollars to be spent could be reduced significantly since bo-biden would not even have a corral for their donkey.
