United Nations To The Rescue

And none too soon, I might add. The 2012 American national elections are coming on fast, and the racist oppressors in fourteen Jim Crow states have laws aimed at keeping minorities [blacks], the elderly, the mentally-deficient, convicted felons, and non-citizens from voting. Foot-dragging by secret racists in the administration and at the state level is allowing solid, salt-of-the earth people to be denied their right to vote, no matter what their status.

The nefarious plan to squelch minority voting revolves largely around requiring potential voters to show a valid photo ID (state or federally issued) before going into the voting booth. Now obviously, that's much like slavery, or the Holocaust. You can read all about it in our November discussion of the matter: Voter ID Laws. Since the Obama administration and the courts aren't moving fast enough to prevent this shredding of the Constitution and mass disfranchisement, the NAACP this week took the matter to the United Nations.

Now we all know that the United Nations is the one organization in the world that can deal with the mass extinction of whole races and ethnic groups, not to mention religious minorities. Only an organization as unprejudiced, upright, learned, benevolent and honest as the UN Human Rights Commission can force America into abandoning its racist ways.

Remember that requiring a voter to prove he is who he says he is is nothing short of racial oppression. After all, to get such an ID, the applicant must pick up a phone or mail a letter and fill out a short application. Don't be fooled by all those provisions for free ID or assistance in obtaining the ID that would allow a catatonic quadriplegic to obtain such an ID at no cost. That's just more propaganda to cover up the racist intent of the voter ID laws.

The NAACP (the racial minority wing of the Democratic Party) declares that voter ID laws are part of a concerted effort to drive down minority turnout. They intend to conduct demonstrations against the vile Jim Crow laws nationwide, starting in Washington DC on December 10th. The NAACP has become the master of agitprop since becoming irrelevant after the success of the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s. And though the demonstrations are designed to coerce guilt-ridden white people and Republicans to toss out their inherent racism, why settle for a national forum when you can have an international forum?

So the NAACP has gone to the United Nations to correct America's human rights abuses. As soon as the UN figures out what to do with Israel (the other major racist nation), and what to do about its own failures to maintain peace in Africa and the Middle East, and clear up those allegations of mass murders and rapes being committed by UN troops, I'm sure it will immediately turn to the depredations of the Great Satan United States.

Now you may say to yourself, "what can the United Nations do about American voting laws?" Well, here's one thought. Barack Obama, he of half-black origin with a typical white grandmother, loves executive orders and playing at being Commander-in-Chief. As soon as the United Nations passes a resolution condemning white racism and demanding a change in American voting laws, this future candidate for Secretary-General of the United Nations could simply order the armed forces to invade the capitals of each of the offending states and conduct the voting on behalf of the oppressed minorities, the United Nations (and incidentally, the United States). No reason to be concerned with that pesky Constitution if it gets in the way of UN do-gooding.

Don't take my word on this. Just ask the leaders of the New Black Panthers Party in Philadelphia. Even a group as small as theirs was able to prevent white voter suppression in a major American city. Imagine what could be done with an entire battalion.

Well, it's about time the UN did something about this heinous action perpetrated by the majority.

New York City is behind them all the way. Why were would this city be without all of it's illegal immigrant votes! Why, Charlie Rangel probably wouldn't be elected and our most unelectable and unworthy political leaders would be in jail rather than the State Legislature. Oh, wait...most of them ARE in jail.

This give me a headache...ugh.

"Now obviously, that's much like slavery, or the Holocaust."

You forgot to mention that voter ID requirements contribute to global warming, er, climate change.

did you gag much while writing this?

and I hadn't realized that such a perfect position (UN Sec Gen) was waiting for the TOTUS after his services are no longer required at 1600 - we shouldn't be so greedy with his obvious talents! we must be sure to share him with the UN as soon as possible (11/2012!)

Man this crap pisses me off. How about somebody tell the NAALCP to go pound sand. You can’t prove who you are, you can’t vote. It is simply stupid to engage these idiots in debate, the absurdity diminishes all involved.

Tryanmax: That goes without saying.

Bev: And San Francisco, home of the original United Nations, also welcomes this action. The pro-UN, anti-racism demonstrations will begin as soon as they finish cleaning up the Occupy cesspool.

tryanmax: Oh, yeah, and global warming. Thanks for the reminder.

rlaWTX: If you can be king of America, then being emperor of the world is even better. Just imagine Obama as that emperor, changing the world by executive order. Utopia!

Stan: See what I mean? Your inherent racism and disregard for the poor and downtrodden has blinded you to the difficulty of going to the welfare office and the DMV to get an ID on the same day. It's just too much to expect of people.

tryanmax said...

Sorry to keep correcting you today, LawHawk, but don't you mean "Otopia"?

I have to ignore all references to Obama as the head of the UN. The thought will keep me up at night Even now I think I need a drink, a double, maybe some brain bleach to burn the idea out of mind.

tryanmax: Jeez. You caught me in an error twice. Well, the day is long. I'm sure I'll make a third boo-boo before it's over. LOL

Bev: I know the feeling. I guess it's too early for him to assume the ultimate title of king of the universe, but that's what gods do, isn't it?

tryanmax said...

Stan, personal mobility is so Bourgeoisie. Being able to leave your house and actually go to the DMV is a luxury that the downtrodden simply cannot afford. Oh, wait...

One can't really blame the NAACP for trying. After all, I have to believe control of hundreds, no probably thousands of votes from dead people, pets, and cartoon characters located in our inner cities are being denied ward bosses who are no doubt also members of the National Assoc. for the Advancement.

Ordinarily, I would ask how stupid these people have to be the ask the UN to step in, seeing as how they have no means of exercising domestic authority here. But with Obama in charge...you never know.

Incidentally, Holder has been up before the House all morning, and the Republicans are grilling him something fierce over Fast & Furious. Ohio(?)'s Sensenbrenner even threatened to impeach the AG if he didn't start complying with subpoenas and such. Good times, good times.

tryanmax and Stan: I've kept that article for permanent reference. It's a good laundry list of "defining poverty up." As I've mentioned in past articles, the "poor" in the United States would be considered wealthy in about 80% of the rest of the world.

Tennessee: Sadly, like most organizations which have outlived their usefulness, the NAACP needs to do whatever silly or obnoxious thing it can in order to perpetuate itself.

T-Rav: Holder just isn't smart enough or clever enough to hide from his own wrongdoing forever. I hope he's sweating, big time.

T-Rav said...

LawHawk, they're really reading him the Riot Act, it sounds like. Issa is going the "hostile witness" line.

On the UN, how many times has their presence actually ensured a free and fair election? Because I'm thinking it's a lot less than supporters like to claim.

Anonymous said...

T-Rav: In keeping with the seriousness of the article, I'd have to say that every election conducted under UN auspices has been completely fair and above-board. Of course the real answer is probably "never." Unless Jimmy Carter was there supervising too. Then it was fair.

I saw some of the clips of the Holder hearing. Either he's too smart or too dumb to be offended by the hardballs being thrown at him. I lean toward the latter. A man with no integrity can't be offended by someone questioning his integrity unless he's smart enough to know he's being insulted.

I think you all are being a little too hard on the UN. Since they started, not one person in the world has died except those killed by the racist, fascist pigs from the United States. Everybody loves and wants to help eveybody else. It is the United States that keeps getting in the way of Utopia. That is until the ONE formed for the vapors between a slave father and his white master. Stories of his immaculate conception are completely overblown. He was never born of a simple human. He was born from the womb of Gaia. He has come to save us from us.

All Hail the Son of Gaia!
All Hail the One!
All Hail Barrack Hussein Obama!

Koshcat: Good to see you've been reading the UN handbook. Now you understand, and are ready for world government headed by Barack Hussein Obama, mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm.

LOLZ! Rolling Stone published an article in August called "The GOP War on Voting." Good grief.

On the upside, the article at least acknowledges that "Dixiecrats" have been historically responsible for voter suppression. The downside? The average Stone reader is probably too dumb to figure out that Dixiecrat = Democrat.

Anonymous said...

tryanmax: And they also believe that under their sheets, the KKK membership has left the Dixiecrats and become Republicans. Never mind Grand Wizard David Duke trying to get a major nomination and getting shut down flat by Republicans from all over the country. Sorta makes ya wonder why the Democrats didn't do the same thing to Robert Byrd.

tryanmax said...

LawHawk,
That's another underhanded GOP tactic: They literally want to starve Democrat voters to death! Forcing minorities (who everyone knows are all poor) to acquire an absolutely free photo ID helps to ensure that they will not have enough to eat and then DIE!

Anonymous said...

tryanmax: They make these poor, innocent people prove who they are in order to get food stamps and housing benefits, and now, God help us all, they want us to make them prove who they are to vote! Damn those oppressors!

tryanmax said...

I almost forgot on the starving Democrats to death thing: Can you believe that Republicans actually want people to be alive in order to vote! What's next? You have to be human, too? Where does it end?

Anonymous said...

tryanmax: Republicans and other white folks have been discriminating against corpses for as long as I can remember. Along with requiring valid photo ID, these people want to purge the voter rolls of dead people along with all minorities. There's no end to their evil. I sure hope the UN acts quickly.

I am formally accusing the NAAACP of Racism. How dare they assume that the poor and minorities can't get an an ID. So if one is a minority then one is too stupid to go to the DMV.

How condescending.

Indi: Too stupid and too lazy. If we had suggested something like that we'd be on the Attorney General's list of subversive racists.
