I hear that people have favorite days of the week. Why would someone like Saturday better than Monday? I'm puzzled. Indeed, I'm not sure I believe this. So let's put this to the test. What's your favorite day of the week and why?

When kids were young, I lked Monday b/c hubster would be off to work and kids to school and I could straighten up mess and have a nice afternoon "lie-down."
No favorite day anymore. Wishing they were all with me!! :(
Sunday has always been my favorite day, and probably always will be. Church in the morning (although I've been too negligent about that lately), relaxation and family the rest of the day. With the kids grown and far away, it's not family day anymore, so it's actually a day of rest as well.
Saturday is my favorite because I get to sleep in a little later - I'm not a moring person - and I can spend the day with my family. Sunday comes next because, as LawHawk says, after church it's a family day and a day of rest. Did I mention that I like to rest and relax? ;) TJ
Lawhawk and TJ, I would like Sundays except that I always have the nagging feeling that it will soon be Mondays. Though -- after I stopped working for other people and became my own boss, that wasn't such a big deal anymore.
Monday is Funday for us. My husband's weekend is Sunday-Monday, so we try to do something fun on Mondays when everyone else is back to work/school. That will change when the kid goes to kindergarten, but that is still over a year away.
Favorite day is Friday 'cause I know at the end of the day I won't have to go back to work for 2 whole days! The rest of the weekend is just icing on the cake. Until Sunday around 7pm and, then I know I have to work the next day...:-(
By the end of the workday, most of the week is in the books. I’ve already put in my 40 hours in and can work on cleaning up and/or some noodling on Friday.
In the evening, I can stay up a bit later and read or go out and play. But not too late. I still have to get up in the morning don’tcha know.
Monday is a ways off and the weekend is about to happen.
Not sure I have a favorite, but my "least" favorite is Tuesday. I'm off weekends and Mondays always feel like they zip by. Tuesdays, on the other hand, seem to drag on an on.

PS. Husband is with ME!!! :D
CrisD, I can understand that. It's good to have a day to yourself.
I've known other people who liked Monday the best because they like their jobs a lot and "felt lost" on the weekends.
I've always been partial to Saturdays.

I’ve always been partial to Thursdays.

Bev, I agree about Friday nights -- best time of the week. It's the moment you get the maximum free time!
Patti, LOL! Cake, booze and sleep. Sounds like a good life!
Tam, I always liked having days off that no one else did, it made it very easy to get things done.
USArtguy, I never liked Wednesdays. They seemed so non-comittal. At least on Tuesday you're over the weekend.
Ponderosa, Thursdays are good, especially when you don't have much planned for work on Friday!
sleepy Saturday!!!!
rlaWTX, there is nothing quite like being able to sleep in!
Ya, sleeping in is why Saturdays are my fave.
And I too get that nauseous Sunday evening I-have-to-go-back-to-work-tomorrow feeling.
I hate that!
Cheryl, Me too. Sunday nights are a little depressing because of that.
I like Saturday, and it can be summed up as follows:
No work today.
No work tomorrow.
Enjoy your weekend!
