Obama is unAmerican. He is the Anti-President. Obama is opposed to everything that Presidents are supposed to be. In fact, he goes out of his way to insult everything the country and all its prior Presidents hold dear. And now we have more evidence with his Easter non-message and his hateful new church.
Let’s look back on Obama’s prior assaults on the Office of President.
1. Proud To Be An American: Presidents are deeply proud of America. Obama is not. His wife slipped up and mentioned this first, when she said the nomination of her husband was the first time she was ever proud of America. But Obama too has provided proof. He described Middle America as bitter clingers to their guns and Bibles. He went to a church for decades whose pastor damned America. Now, he’s picked a new church that is damning half of America, with his new pastor choosing Easter to equate Rush Limbaugh by name to the KKK and Republicans to slave-owners. And right after he was elected, he ran to Egypt to apologize for our ignorance and tell the world that we would need to change.
2. The Special Relationship: Britain and America have an historic special relationship. . . until now. Obama returned diplomatic gifts, gave selfish gifts, improperly touched the queen, failed to consult Britain over terrorists he dropped on their soil, betrayed Gordon Brown vis-à-vis Libyan terrorists, and explicitly denied any special relationship.
3. America Bows To No One: Obama has shamefully bowed to everyone from Saudi princes to foreign meter maids.
4. America Takes the Lead: Since Gen. Jack Pershing refused to allow the Europeans to treat the US Army as replacement troops in World War I, the US has always taken the lead in all international actions. . . until now. Obama let the South Americans handle Honduras, let the BRICS handle global warming, let China handle North Korea, let random chance handle Egypt and Tunisia, and now is letting Europe handle Libya.
5. America the Charitable: American has historically taken the lead in disaster aid. But in Haiti, Obama didn’t act until he was shamed by CNN. In Japan, he didn’t act at all.
6. Healer in Chief: Presidents have always flown to the site of disasters to comfort those hit by hurricanes, tornados, floods and other disasters, and to survey the damage. Not Obama. He went to a campaign rally rather than survey recent tornado damage. He went golfing rather than visit the Gulf of Mexico as it flooded with oil.
7. Commander in Chief: Presidents have zealously guarded the military against attacks foreign and domestic. Not Obama. He tosses them into wars like he tosses golf clubs into golf bags, and he still had the nerve to declare them “non-essential.”
8. The Most Powerful Man On Earth: Not a single President in history has ever fantasized about being a dictator of some backward country like China, until Obama did it. . . publicly. And don’t forget, he’s appointed people who named mass murderers like Mao as their heroes.
9. Defender of the Public: The first thought of every President is to protect the American public. At least, it was. Obama’s first thought upon hearing of terrorist attacks has been to warn us not to do anything to upset Muslims or illegal aliens.
10. Workaholics: One of the reasons campaigns are so rugged is that the job of President requires a true workaholic. We have never had a lazy President until Obama, who can’t be bothered to do his job even a little bit.
And now we come to Easter. It doesn’t matter what religion a President is, they are expected to issue soothing statements on every major religious holiday for every major religion in America. The idea is that the President represents ALL the people of America, no matter what their faiths. So why has Obama issued statements on every single major Muslim holiday, but can’t bring himself to issue a statement on Easter? He even went out of his way last week to issue an eight-paragraph statement heralding Earth Day!! Yet, somehow he can’t mention one of the most significant holidays in the religion to which the vast majority of Americans belong?
This is a pattern of behavior. Obama has systematically insulted everything Americans hold dear, from our historic relationships, to our place in the world, to our predominant religions, to our military, and even our Office of the Presidency. This man is not only deeply unAmerican, he is anti-American.
Let us hope when he is unceremoniously dumped in November 2012, that he defects to somewhere more deserving of him. . . like Sudan. And let us not forget who his supporters are during this period.

I had read about this yesterday where it was noted that Obama had made a statement for Muslim holidays. Jay Carney was trying to bob and weave and talk about the Obama's highly visible visit to church on Sunday. Inexcusable really when you get right down to it.
G.W. Bush "Miss me Yet?"
Jed, I see it as an intended insult. In fact, I'm seeing a whole pattern of intended insults. Obama could have and should have avoided each one of these, but he didn't. And I think he's sending a message.
Seriously, all Presidents know that on certain days you just read a statement (written by the staff) to celebrate whatever it is -- Easter, Passover, Donut Month. It's just part of the business. And for Obama to selectively pick and choose and then to specifically pick out the ones that represent "traditional American values" has to be an insult -- especially when combined with things like him refusing to say that Britain and the US have a special relationship and him sending Biden to Memorial Day ceremonies.
It's all part of a pattern of intentional slights.
Nice picture! I think it's impossible not to notice that he keeps doing these things. If it's American or Western or Christian, he lets us know he couldn't care less. But if it's Muslim, then he gets all excited about it. He does not represent us and he doesn't want to represent us.
DUQ, That's the way I see it and I'm not sure there is any other way. We could excuse one or two of these things as a misstatement or just a poor start. But by now he's shown that he truly does not care about defending America or it's traditions and he's entirely indifferent to the duties of the Presidency.
Andrew: Obama just doesn't get it, as the liberals love to say. He attended Shiloh Baptist Church on Easter Sunday. As the MSM pointed out, the church was founded in 1863 by freed slaves. So far, so good. But the story doesn't end there, though they would have it that way. The pastor that day gave a typically liberation theology sermon (not typically Baptist).
And the other thing they didn't mention is that in 2009 the same church hosted an Israel-bashing festival led by Associate Pastor Adam Russell Taylor, whom Obama appointed as White House Fellow in the Office of Cabinet Affairs. Like his lack of knowledge of the theology of Jeremiah Wright, I am sure that Obama had no idea what was being preached regularly from the Shiloh Baptist pulpit. That includes regular sermons on the Nakba ("the catastrophe"--the formation of the state of Israel) and the support of the American divestment campaign against Israel and promotion of Palestinian "victimhood," along with support of the intifida.
Meanwhile, over the past year, Obama has issued special proclamations for Ramadan, Eid al Fitr, Eid al Adha, Hajj and Earth Day. But as Obama's press secretary said, "he went to Church on Easter Sunday--isn't that enough?" Answer: "No."
Lawhawk, Isn't it amazing how Obama can keep picking churches that spew hate and yet somehow manages to now have any idea what's going on while he's sitting there throughout the years. "Racist diatribe? I must have been asleep..."
I think the truth is that he knows what he's doing, he's comfortable in the anti-white black liberation movement and just going to lie about it when questioned. And since the media won't follow up with this like they would if it were a Republican being preached to by a klansman, he knows that he can sit back and relax because the MSM has his back.
Andrew: BTW, since Easter Sunday is over, did I mention I hate Obama?
Nope, but I'm pretty sure that's no sin. ;-)
The Easter thing didn't bother me until I heard that he never missed a muslim holiday. What the heck is that? I think you're right that this is supposed to be a slap at us, with us being the American public. 2012 can't come soon enough!
Ed, Isn't that the truth! I'm ready for him to leave tomorrow. I wonder if we can offer him an early retirement? Maybe we can buy out his contract?
pretty certain I agree with you, Andrew. It used to be I'd ask myself the question "to what end? . . what does he gain?" Now, he has shown me his political prowess isn't quite what it was cracked up to, and his ideological nature gets in the way of his line of b.s. The beauty is, he no longer can be the outsider running against Bush. He has to run on his record which includes the insults, and we all are watching.
Jed, I was the same way. That's why I figured his early insults were just rookie mistakes. After all, it made no sense that he would anger the British or whoever. . . he didn't seem to gain anything.
But as the evidence began to pile up that he could have avoided all of this and yet he kept doing it -- this Easter one is entirely inexplicable -- it all started to add up to be a series of intentional insults.
So at this point, I have to conclude that he's either the way most incompetent human being to ever hold the office (and his staff are ALL fools), or it's intentional. I think it's intentional.
And you're right, the problem for him is that he can't run against Bush anymore. It's his record that will be voted on in 2012, and his record is horrible!
his record is horrible, he hates America, he fantasizes about being a commie dictator, he calls us his enemies. I don't give a $&%# where his birth certificate is, I know all I need to know. He's no American.
P.S. I hate Obama.
Tam, I forgot about him calling us "enemies." Yeah, he did that too. Grrr.
I'm with you. I don't care where he was born or what he was born to -- American, Kenyan, jackal -- he is simply not a real American. Americans don't hate America, don't hate our institutions, and don't hate Americans. Grrr.
In terms of hating him, that seems to be a very popular position and I'm thinking we could form some sort of club!
When does he take his televised walk along a beach, clutching a bible as part of his damage control plan?
He certainly isn't behaving as if he wants a second term. Let's hope he gets early retirement.
Writer X, I have my doubts he'll do that kind of damage control, after all, it's not like he really cares what Christians or Americans think! Besides, it would discriminate against Muslims if he was seen with a Bible.
So if he does do a photo-op like this, then I'm thinking he will be clutching a textbook describing the Bible. . . and possibly the Koran as a chaser.
In terms of a second term, no, he really doesn't act like he wants it. Let's hope the public has the same reaction!
I don't think that Obama wanted to encourage those people in 'fly-over country' who cling to God and guns.
But everything Obama does insults me, so why not tack Easter onto the list?
LL, That's true. This is just one more insult for the pile and really doesn't change my opinion of him... which couldn't get much lower.
Good point about not encouraging those evil Americans in fly-over country. . . they're dangerous! They might demand unsafe tax cuts or that the government protect them from minor inconveniences like terrorism.
Grrr.
I should add that I hate him too. Where do I sign up for the club?
Don't worry DUQ, there'll be a sign up sheet come November!
If it makes you feel any better, his statement for Passover didn't go over so well, so maybe the Christians are better off without a statement -
"The story of Passover – which recalls the passage of the children of Israel from bondage and repression to freedom and liberty – inspires hope that those oppressed and enslaved can become free, The Seder, with its rich traditions and rituals, instructs each generation to remember its past, while appreciating the beauty of freedom and responsibility it entails.
This year, that ancient instruction is reflected in the daily headlines as we see modern stories of social transformation and liberation unfolding in the Middle East and North Africa."
Bev, I can't imagine what's wrong with that? Basically he's saying that the struggle by Muslim fundamentalists (who have vowed to destroy Israel and use it as a scapegoat for their own failures) against murderous dictators (who have used Israel as a scapegoat for all the problems of the Arab world) reminds him of a Jewish holiday. What could possibly be wrong with that???
Wow, what an ~ss!
P.S. Bev, I take it that the image of Arabs fighting each other isn't the first thing that comes to your mind during the holidays?
Hmmmm, not really. Though Egyptians do play a central part in the Exodus story. That and gefilte fish...yuck.
Bev, Never had it, but I hear it's not good. I'll stick to heathen foods like steak and french fries! Hmmm. :-)
Yeah, I heard the Egyptians play a minor role in the Exodus story -- at least so says Yul Brynner.... though I don't recall any particular verse about them from Bob Marley. ;-)
On Obama, it could have been worse. He could have tried to tell passover jokes!
This just in: Hubert Schlafly, the inventor of the Teleprompter passed away today at the age of 91 -
I am sure you share good thoughts to go out to TOTUS at this time of sadness...
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9MRMGV00&show_article=1
Bev, Wow! The man who made our current president possible?! Well, I won't hold that against him.
So let me join you in wishing our TOTUS well in its time of grief. Perhaps POTUS will give him the day off?
Here's your link: LINK
Andrew, I suppose it goes without saying that I'll join the club too!
Bev, When I first read your comment, I thought you said the TOTUS died. That got me wondering what the POTUS would do to run the country. Then I got your point.
That's pretty cool though to have invented the teleprompter.
This goon needs to go.
Tell me about it!
